Sparto

Point of sale and management

The point of sale and management platform for your business.

Sparto rings up sales, takes cards on the terminal at the counter, and runs the back office: staff and roles, reporting, the daily close and a full audit trail. One platform to sell with and to run the business on.

Sell with it. Run the business on it.

The till and the back office are one product, so a sale is already a line in the books, a card payment is already reconciled, and the day is already closed by the time the owner looks.

Point of sale

Ring up by tile or by SKU. Open tickets, add to them, split them. Cash or card. Tax worked out at the moment of sale. A receipt that prints.

Payments

Card terminals on the counter through our payment partners. The platform holds the authorisation and capture against the ticket and never sees a card number.

Management

Staff with the role the job needs, a daily close that proves the day, reports, and an audit trail of who did what and why.

An edition for your kind of business.

Each edition is its own product with the screens that job needs. You set up the one you run; nothing from the others gets in the way.

Sparto for Hotels Property management

Arrivals and departures as a to-do list, with the next action on every row. Rooms, rates, folios and deposits, a public booking page, and a night audit that rolls the business date and seals the day only when the books balance.

  • Reservations and room moves
  • Folios, windows, deposits
  • Rate plans and overrides
  • Night audit

Sparto for Restaurants Floor and checks

Tables on a floor, checks on tables, items rung from a menu with tax at the moment of sale. Settle in cash or on the terminal at the table; the check closes only when the bill is actually paid.

  • Floor, tables, covers
  • Menu with categories and tax
  • Settle by card at the table
  • Daily close

Sparto for Retail Counter and stock room

A till that rings by tile or by SKU, takes cash or card, and prints a receipt. A stock ledger that records deliveries, sales and counts as facts, and tells you when a shelf needs counting instead of refusing a sale.

  • Checkout, receipts
  • Products with SKUs
  • Receive, count, adjust
  • Daily close

Payments

The terminal is on the counter, and nowhere else.

A card is taken on the terminal, at the counter, the desk or the table. Sparto holds the authorisation and the capture against the ticket, and the books see a token and a settlement. No card number ever enters the system, on purpose, so there is nothing to protect and nothing to lose.

Cash and card land in their own clearing accounts, which is what lets the daily close prove the day rather than assume it.

Books you can trust without checking.

These are the rules the platform is built on. They are not settings. They are why a first-week employee cannot break the books, and why the owner can trust the numbers.

Nothing is ever edited

Every posting is permanent. A mistake is corrected by a reversal that shows who, when and why, so the trail reads the way an accountant expects.

Pressing twice does it once

Every action carries a key. A retry, a lost connection or a double tap lands one sale, one payment, one movement of stock.

The day is a business date

A ticket settled at one in the morning belongs to the night before. The close rolls the date; the clock on the wall does not.

The day closes only when it balances

The close checks the trial balance before it seals the period. If the books are off by a cent it stops and says so, rather than carrying it forward.

Works with the internet down

Sales taken during an outage queue on the device and replay in order when the line is back, under their original keys.

Every screen says what to do next

Lists carry their own actions. Refusals name the field and the reason. A person hired last week can run the counter on their first shift.

One location or twenty.

Every location is set up, staffed and reported on from one console. Add a location, invite staff with the role the job needs, and read reports and the audit trail across all of them.
